Neil is a specialist oral surgeon, senior lecturer and honorary consultant in oral surgery who limits his practice to dental implantology and oral surgery. He has a master’s degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has a particular interest in teaching, learning and academia. He holds a senior fellowship of the Higher Education Academy, a PGCert in Healthcare Leadership and Management, is a member of the Faculty of Dental Trainers and is also a member of the Academy of Medical Educators. Neil trains undergraduates, postgraduates, DCTs and specialist trainees and has a particular interest in evidence-based practice, a subject he is currently completing a PHD in.
