What Others Think
I just want to say a huge thank you for yesterday, you’re the most approachable, knowledgeable and supportive teacher I’ve ever had on a course and the day was so engaging, fun and informative
I just wanted to say thank you guys
I had a very tricky LL7 on Monday on a patient with limited opening thick roots and what looked like a nightmare tooth. I finally managed to put everything I’ve learnt into practice I snapped the crown (as I had expected I would)sectioned the roots which kept breaking then quickly decide to change tact and made a mesial reliving incision removed some bone and got the roots out, something I never would have had the confidence to do even 6 months ago. Thank you for all the hard work you put in because for people like me it makes a world of difference.
I am just back from a fantastic weekend of oral surgery training. It covered all the essentials I needed, from little tips with simple extractions to what to do if things don’t go to plan. We had ample time to practice and I could see the improvement as I went along. Chris was very approachable and the small group size gave us lots of one-on-one time. I liked the mixture of online learning before and after and teaching on the days.
“ Simply a great, fun and very hands-on 2 days of learning the fundamentals of simple and more complex extractions; in a very modern and relaxed venue.
Chris’s teaching was methodical and easy to follow; and as a General Practitioner, gave me the confidence to be able to use the skills immediately in practice. He was very approachable and open to questions from the group, as well as just for a general chat to put the World to rights!
The pre-course online learning was a fantastic resource to support the practical elements, and it is also useful that one can still access this after the course for a period of time.
Would recommend the course to anyone looking to improve on their clinical skills and knowledge in oral surgery”
This course was excellent, and I would encourage all dentists to sign up. Oral surgery can be scary if you aren’t confident but Chris teaches a pragmatic approach to extractions so you always know what your next step is, and panic can be avoided.
The pre and post course videos were comprehensive, and the blended approach allowed us to maximise our hands on time over the two days. The mix of animal jaws and printed models allowed plenty of opportunities to practice extractions, sectioning and suturing.
The small group size meant Chris was on hand to answer questions and give feedback as well as advise on essential kit for oral surgery in practice. If you want to feel more confident performing extractions and referring less then this course is perfect for you!
In my 10 years post graduation this is the only course I have ever enjoyed or not wanted to run away from! I even stayed longer to tidy up ! All jokes aside , I learnt a lot, really enjoyed your teaching methods and felt fully supported in my learning.
Hi Chris,
I just wanted to say a huge thank you for your hands on workshop at Dentinal Tubules!
I have since changed the settings on our surgical handpiece and have been much more confident in sectioning a few teeth this past week and putting that in my plan rather than waiting for it to go wrong before I section! I have also been much more aware of the angles of teeth and my forceps placement and angles for sectioning.
Just wanted to pass on my thanks again as going away and putting your expertise into practice has been fab!
“The course was great. Chris was great. Happy to discuss subjects off topic too. For example, the conversation evolved to socket preservation. Within minutes we had photos of the technique. Great depth and knowledge of oral surgery. All questions and queries answered thoroughly.
I felt privileged to have such a small working group. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer bunch to spend the few days with. There are no other courses like this. It was perfect for me. Updating skills gained from an SHO post 10 years ago. Felt like lots of time given to hands on. Which was perfect. “
‘Evening! Just to let you know… I work in a high needs practice second part of the week and was forever breaking shards of roots and feeling really crap…
Had a boss day today! And the nurse I work with said, “Well that course was worth every penny”, at the end of the day 🤩🙏 managed to get everything out and used all your tips. Thank you so much for the oral surgery course at Paul’s at the weekend because I feel like I’ve got my extraction mojo back. 😀
Hope you are well! Thank you so, so much – honestly the most valuable course since I graduated. Please don’t stop putting it on!!”
